Our approach blends gentle direction with space for genuine emotion. I’ll guide you in a way that feels relaxed and natural, ensuring strong composition and flattering light without ever feeling stiff or overly posed. Meanwhile, Kip keeps the day flowing—organizing family portraits efficiently and helping everyone feel at ease. Once you’re comfortable, we step back and document the honest, in-between moments that make your story feel real.
Do you work with a second photographer?
Yes. Every wedding includes two photographers—my husband Kip and me. Working as a husband-and-wife team allows us to document multiple perspectives at once: refined details, wide architectural scenes, and candid interactions as they unfold. Our rhythm is seamless, so your coverage feels calm and cohesive from start to finish.
How far in advance should we book our Austin wedding photographer?
Most couples book 9–15 months in advance, especially for peak spring and fall dates in Austin and the Texas Hill Country. I intentionally take a limited number of weddings each year to provide a focused, personalized experience, so earlier inquiries offer the best availability.
Do you travel beyond Austin and Hill Country?
Yes. While based in Austin, I photograph weddings throughout Texas and beyond. Whether you’re planning a destination celebration or an intimate gathering in another city, custom travel collections are available to ensure your coverage remains seamless and thoughtfully planned.
